The Ancients of old grew tired of petty Zombies and Spiders. They decided to build a beacon of power to confront the great evils that threaten our world, to challenge and hone their skills and rid the world of these terrors. For this cause, they created the Colosseum, a monument to the ages and the pinnacle of ancient power! Now the Colosseum calls to You as evil stirs once again. Confront Evil's many faces and reap the rewards!
DIAMOND GEAR REQUIRED - Without it expect 1-hit deaths
The Colosseum is a massive, self-contained mob-combat arena, tailored to Diamond+ players with enchanted gear. This is not your average mob-combat arena! Face numerous types of vanilla and custom mobs designed to challenge Diamond-gear players, while still permitting Iron-geared players a chance at loot and experience. The Colosseum houses 4 unique biomes, offering a variety of tactical opportunities and terrain variation - Nether, Enderin Village, Jungle and Icy Taiga. However, it is not just the standard mob spawners that make this arena unique... Legendary KEYS can be found around Endless Horizons (from rewards, rare drops, dungeon loot, etc) to summon mighty Boss mobs and hordes of monsters into the Colosseum! Epic mob-battles and boss fight await!
So what are these Keys? Keys come in various forms of Rare Items of power used to Lure mobs into the Summoning Circle at the center of the Colosseum. Every Key requires 8 additional "aspect" items - items or blocks or materials that relate to the mob you are summoning. These items can be anything and may require more than one of the same item, and must be in your inventory when you attempt to summon! These 8 items with be CONSUMED in the Summoning process and will appear around the Summoning Circle, indicating a summoning in progress - it takes roughly 5-10 seconds.
The 8 Aspect items taken from your inventory will appear around the Circle. These will infuse the KEY with energy and charge the Summong Circle!
Once the summoning begins, get out of the circle fast! Otherwise you might get blown away if the boss(s) spawn in the Summoning Circle!
Summoning Circle at the center of the Colosseum
To actually summon a boss in the Colosseum, simply stand on the Summoning Circle at the center of the arena with the KEY in hand. Right-click the KEY and it will vanish and consume the 8 Aspect items. However, if you do not have the correct combination of Aspect items, it will not tell you what you are missing - you must discover the necessary Aspect Items for yourself!
Keys such as Nether Soup are essential for summoning bosses. The associated Aspect you must discover yourself!
Quick Summoning Breakdown:
1) Rare KEY items used to summon bosses, in hand. 2) 8 "Aspect" items that relate to that boss, that are consumed from your inventory when you summon. 3) Stand in the Summoning Circle and right-click the KEY in hand. 4) Stand back and enjoy the brief show! ....Then fight for your life!!

You have found something dark and dangerous from the Heart of the Nether itself. This fiery, Infernal Crystal burns with chaotic energy. This can be used to summon an Infernal in the Colosseum.
Rare drop from Magma Cube
Mobs and Bosses found in the Colosseum vary widely from their non-Colosseum counterparts - some are merely stronger or faster, while others have special abilities. Some can only be found in the Colosseum (fortunately for you). While not all will drop extra loot or experience, most will certainly challenge Diamond-gear players and reward in kind.
Mobs like Hammer Zombies, Barons, Coven Witches and Angry Golems remain pretty much the same as seen elsewhere on the server, however they offer a far greater challenge of being spawned close by each other. See the Custom Mobs page for information on them.
Infernals are towering elementals comprised of Pure Elemental Fire. Strong beyond measure and devastatingly powerful, these massive armoured creatures are slow and oddly passive. Their armour is made of a nigh-indestructible Nether alloy called Ardite, yet to be imagined inour own Plane of existence.
Health: 1000 x ♥ Speed: Slow Damage: 15-18 x ♥ (no armor) Drops: Nether Stars, Blaze Rods,
Combat: Acting mostly on defense, Infernals will slowly approach a target to investigate up close, burning anything that gets too close. If attacked, they will respond in kind with devastating fireburst attacks that can incinerate even fire-resistant gear in seconds. Their size is their biggest weakness, preventing them from following players in tight spaces and allowing nimble foes to dance around them with ease. Has been occasionally seen leaping into the air and smashing the ground.
Zombies are common enough baddies, even in the Colosseum. The Horde brings a different variety though, armed with swords and bows and random speed or strength buffs. Some even wear Diamond Chestplates, and tend to be far tougher than most.
Health: 15 x ♥ Speed: Slow Damage: 8 x ♥ (no armor) Drops: Rotted Flesh
Combat: While most Horde Zombies can be dealt with like normal, Archers have porcupine skin and seem to be highly resistant to arrows. They can also unleash arrow barrages on occasion, so try to keep an obstacle between you and their bow.
Evokers are tricky at the best of times, and the Colosseum adds another level of trickery. Found in the Enderin Village in the Colosseum, Evokers are slightly stronger than vanilla counterparts. Most notable however, is there ability to spawn small Faerie Wisps, that track nearby foes and explode.
Health: 20 x ♥ Speed: Normal Damage: 6-8 x ♥ (no armor) Drops: Emerald, Totem of Undying (rare)
Combat: Easiest at range, Evokers are nimble and tricky when they spawn Vexes, but the Faerie Wisps are dangerous because they deal instant damage opposed to low-damage swarm attacks Vex have. Kill quickly to avoid Vex swarms!
However, arena mobs are only part of a good arena; the Colosseum boasts unique environments and even some useful powerups and aura fields. Here are a few notable pointers for surviving the Colosseum!
The twisted energies of the Nether have been twisted back, granting a boost in hunger to players in the Fortress. Found in the floor of the roofed area.
The Enderin Village Temple in the Colosseum is a dark and mysterious structure that blinds the eyes of anyone on the top floor. It also hinders campers looking for a convenient sniper's nest. The temple is the spawn location of the All-Seeing Eye.
The Enderin Village Forge is home to an everlasting anvil - just click it with a damaged item to repair it, instantly! For free! That's right! Free! Just a warning though, Faerie Wisps seem to frequent the Forge, so careful repairing your gear!
Please remember, the Colosseum is tailored to Enchanted-Diamond Gear players, and to provide a challenging experience. Lost gear, resources, materials and especially loot and trophy items will not be refunded if lost. If you have any feedback, concerns or suggestions, let us know!
